Prototyping
The students used the materials in the 3M toolkit as well as their cardboard modelling skills to create their first version of the prototype for their challenge idea.

First consultation session with 3M consultants
The first consultation session with the 3M engineers was held on Thursday, 14 April 2016, at the Maker Lab. A total of 19 teams have signed up to meet the 2 engineers from 3M, Mr Pang and Mr Anthony Lim, who offered advice on how the teams can improve on their product ideas more significantly. Overall it was well-received. Below are some highlights of this session:
